    What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the site function, remember your preferences, and provide information about how the site is used. Similar technologies (local storage, pixels, embedded media) work in the same way.

    How we use cookies

We use a minimal set of cookies and similar technologies, grouped as follows:

    • Strictly necessary - required for the site to function (e.g. saving your consent choice, security). These do not require consent.
    • Analytics - Google Analytics 4 (G-JM6Z0RV524) and Hotjar (5218485). We use these to understand how the site is used and improve it. IP addresses are anonymised.
    • Embedded media - when articles include videos (e.g. YouTube, Loom), the provider may set its own cookies once the embed loads.

We do not use advertising or marketing cookies, and we do not sell personal data.

    Your choices

On your first visit you are asked to accept or decline non-essential cookies. Until you accept, analytics and third-party embeds are blocked. You can change your decision at any time below.

    Your current preference

You have not yet made a choice.

    Managing cookies in your browser

You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Please note that some parts of the site may not work as expected if you do.
